Meet Nicola Doughty
(Dental Nurse)
I started working in the Dental field in 1979 at a combined NHS/Private clinic Beaumont Street, Oxford. I then went in to general nursing and qualified in 1983 and moved on to work in Accident and Emergency at St James Hospital Balham London, The Westminster Hospital London, and finally at St Stephens Hospital Chelsea London.
After taking 6 years off to raise my family I then returned to work in 1989 and completed my qualification to become a Dental Nurse and went on to work in oral surgery and orthodontics.
From 2000 to 2005 I then joined Boots Dental care and worked alongside Dr Wynand De Jager, Dr Andre Brand, Hygienists Julianne Eaton and Sarah Taylor.
In 2008 I then rejoined the same team of Dentists and Hygienists at Brooklands Dental Clinic.
